Jaguar baseball gets shut out at home versus #24 Alabama, on Tuesday night. The final score was 4-0. The Jaguars could only muster three hits all night against Tide pitching. JG Bell, Joseph Sullivan, and Micah Morgan each had one hit a piece. On what was clearly a bullpen night, the Jaguars used 10 pitchers. Eight pitchers went 1 full inning. Sam Knowlton went 0.1 of an inning and Zach Willingham came in for the final two outs in the inning. The Jaguar staff would record a total of 13 strikeouts.
Alabama scored 2 runs in the top of the third and 1 run in both the top of the fourth and 5th innings.
Mitchell Heer got the start for the Jags. In his one inning of work he had 3 strikeouts and 1 walk. Danny Diaz would pick up the loss.
